Terms of use

Draft for legal review · Operator and contact details are not final.

About this draft

These plain-English terms are a draft for legal review, not a lawyer-approved agreement. jomt is an early beta. The operator’s legal name, address, applicable jurisdiction and working contact channel still need to be confirmed and published before a public launch. No legal entity or dispute jurisdiction is represented here as established.

What jomt does

jomt helps freelancers describe extra work, state a price and share a link for a written response. Approval records are available in the app. jomt does not collect, hold or process payments, issue your invoices, or guarantee that a client will pay. Email receipts, notifications and reminders are not available until delivery is configured; do not rely on them.

Your account and your requests

Use accurate information, protect your login and only create requests you are authorised to send. You are responsible for the scope, price, recipient email and permissions for any data you provide. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, sensitive personal information or content you do not have permission to share.

Links and approval evidence

Treat approval and record links as private: anyone with a valid link may be able to view the associated information or respond. The designated client email is supplied by the freelancer; a response through a link does not prove ownership of that email address or the identity or authority of the person responding. A timestamped record may help document an agreement, but legal effect depends on your circumstances and local law. jomt is not legal advice or a substitute for a contract.

Acceptable use

Do not use jomt for fraud, harassment, unlawful content, unsolicited bulk messages or attempts to access someone else’s data. Do not bypass security controls or rate limits. Misuse may result in restricted or suspended access.

Beta availability and pricing

The service is free during beta. Features may change, and interruptions or errors may occur. Keep your own copies of important agreements. Any future paid offering will be explained before you choose it; jomt does not collect payment from your clients.

Responsibility and disputes

The freelancer and client remain responsible for their work, invoices, taxes and disputes. No promise of legal enforceability, uninterrupted availability or suitability for a particular purpose is made. Nothing in this draft seeks to remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes and contact

Material changes should be reflected on this page. A working support and privacy contact has not yet been configured. See Contact for the current limitation. Do not send sensitive information through a placeholder or unverified address.
